What we offer
We’re always happy to offer paid summer internships to talented Developers and Quant Analysts. These are normally two to three months long, and involve working as part of a Gambit project team, on an assigned task. You’ll be mentored by experienced Gambit employees throughout your internship, and be given feedback on how you’re doing.
What sort of intern roles do we have?
We can find spaces for Quant or Data interns, and for both front and backend developer interns. If you’re coming for a Quant internship, you should be doing a Mathematics Masters or PhD.
For development internships, we would expect you to have some pre-existing programming knowledge. You needn’t have any previous commercial experience, but you may have worked on personal programming projects, contributed to OpenSource projects, and might have your own GitHub account that you’d like to share details of.
Logistics of an internship at Gambit
If you’re interested in applying for an internship with Gambit, please send your CV across to careers@gambitresearch.com. You should include the dates you’d be able to do an internship during, links to your GitHub account or any other project you’d like to share, and your contact details.
We pay all our interns, at a rate above the London Living Wage. We do however require all our interns to have an existing right to work in the UK (student visas usually allow holiday working), as we can only look at sponsoring permanent employees.
How to apply for an internship
Simply drop us an email and tell us a little about yourself, what you’re looking for, and when you’re available. Don’t forget to also attach your CV.
